About me
Ever since I was a child, I have been revealing passion for visual arts. Initially working with pencils and pastels, then watercolors, oil on canvas, and experimenting with collage techniques. Even though I've chosen language studies for a professional career, artistic expression has remained a very important part of my life. I discovered the magical world of photography at the age of eighteen when I got my first SLR camera. A lot has changed since that time but photography has never stopped amazing me. It gives me the sense of freedom and completion, it helps me slow down and discover what we often miss in a daily rush. I love playing with color and by using it in a bold, sometimes even exuberant way, I add a bit of my nature to the images that I create. I am especially interested in floral, macro, and still life photography, but I gladly embrace other photographic genres if inspired to do so. I have made a series of photo reportages at the Gala Concert of the 2nd International Early Music Vocal Competition, and at the 11th International Festival of Boys Choirs held in Poznan, Poland.
